Don’t forget to appreciate how far your writing in English has come

Sometimes writing in English can feel like one step forward and two steps back.

You’ve finally got the hang of few vs little when you realise you’re still muddling up interested vs interesting and as vs like.

Making you wonder if you’ll ever get there.

This is the moment to take stock of how far you’ve already come.

Do you remember when it took you all day to write a short email?

Or you waited a week to finally push send because you had to keep going through your email just one more time looking for mistakes?

Now you:

  • find words more easily
  • check fewer grammar points
  • express yourself more clearly and naturally
  • write captions, emails and blog posts faster

Congratulations!

You’ve come a long way.

Be proud of what you’ve already achieved. Writing in another language is no cakewalk (easy accomplishment). You’ve worked hard and made good progress.

So keep going. You can do it.
