6 words from my mentor that encouraged his students and me

My mentor passed away three years ago, but six words still resonate.

When his students felt disappointed, dissatisfied or disillusioned with their progress in English, Warwick would say six words.

When a student’s English was good enough, but he knew they could do better, Warwick would say six words.

And when I was stuck in a project, Warwick would say six words:

Keep going. You can do it.

He pushed us to continue trying, following Mahatma Gandhi’s maxim: “Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment. Full effort is full victory.”

So whenever I’m frustrated or thwarted, I hear Warwick telling me:

Keep going. You can do it.

Do you need a push to keep going with your English for work? I can help.
